Wolfgang Henggeler obtained a Ph.D. in Physics and a MAS in Management, Technology and Economics from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. He spent two years of his Ph.D. studies at the Institut Laue Langevin in Grenoble. After a Post-Doc stay at the Paul Scherrer Institute, he started his business career in the machine industry, first as a Material and Process Engineer at Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. and then as Head of the Profit Center “Laser” at Unaxis Balzers Ltd.

Wolfgang is in charge of licensing of inventions and negotiating research collaborations in the field of physics, chemistry, medical technology, informatics and earth sciences. He is also the contact person for questions regarding copyright matters and licensing of software.

Since 1.9.2019 he is Associate Director of Unitectra.
