Gabriela Burkart studied law at the University of Fribourg. After graduating, she worked as a scientific assistant for the president of the University of Fribourg. Following, she gained valuable experience as a legal counsel in the CIO office of the Inselspital Bern. Most recently, she has been working for Swisscom as a Compliance and Data Protection Officer as well as a legal counsel in Purchasing.

Gabriela Burkart is responsible for the drafting and negotiation of research contracts.
